My work is unveiled from different sources of inspiration. Heavily influenced by symbolism, alchemy and personal transformation. Imagery portraying the fusion between the physical realm and the mental reality along with spiritual growth.
Balancing the masculine and feminine polarities is a common denomination in my illustrations. Tantric symbolism that captures the union between the divine and the mundane.
Nature, surrealism and ethereal concepts reveal the embodiment of balanced and creative energy. A mirror of inner cosmology mixed with concepts of alchemy, numerology, astrology and hermetic principles, are often shown in my work along with the four elements in nature (fire, air, water and earth) making every piece charged with rich symbolism.
INSPIRATION & CONNECTIONS
I often see the connection between my life experiences, acquisition of ancient knowledge, study of different disciplines, including, human history, magic, religion, philosophy, myths, anthropology, psychology and arts.
Being mixed race and having an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, helps me to explore the relationship between cultures around the world, our human origins and the Universe. I see these connections in my own journey and throughout my artwork.
I emphasize the symbols of transformation, since the journey as humans is about evolving into our highest self. Butterflies, sacred geometry, tribal elements, plants, celestial bodies and flowing patterns in the chaos and void.
